Napoleon Total War III v2.0
This mod by the Lordz Modding Collective has come a long way, and is currently being used in their own competitions. I was shopping around for a retro contest possibility for Clan Wars and was brought to a halt by the shear mountain of work that has gone into this mod. It is totally awesome.
If any here are interested, the reinstall of Napoleon and the 2 mod files download take a little time, but the maps and game play look to be every bit worth the effort.

Re: Napoleon Total War III v2.0
Well after testing today the map pac was found to be the best part of the deal, and now I am trying to find someone who can make a pack that can be added to the vanilla NTW. I am certain it can be done, I just have to find someone who knows how to do it

It's a great pity that Orda Khan (^HUN^) is no longer playing TW games.
Remember his O_Mizuland maps that he did for MTW/VI that were popular in CWC and the maps for the Samurai Warlords mod?

I know it is hard sometimes to stay interested in these games, especially when they are not about an era you particularly like.
What keeps me going through the flat spots is remembering that having a hobby (no matter how silly and senseless it may seem sometimes) is important to general wellbeing. Total War to me is a sport of sorts, something to be enjoyed as can, but never to be taken too seriously. It can provide a line of continuity to keep you going, even when other things are not going so well.
Who knows what the future will bring?

Good to see there is still some activity around NTW.
That game was pretty good and I remember having a lot of online fun with it.
Also, Tomisama, I can second your thoughts about TW as a hobby.
