We now know the title and we have seen all the pretty pictures. CA have mentioned independent movement of troops within a unit, so battle scenes are going to look very different. What is all this going to mean and what specs will be required to run all this? MP will see far more factions and hopefully the silly units will be less or better still absent. I was feeling jaded about TW but I think I could warm to another Medieval stint. Just hope we get a nicer lobby.

An interview with Bob Smith of CA. In PCZone magazine.

It seems that the next TW game is going to be a high spec one.

It has also been stated that 'if you can run RTW you will be able to run MTW II'. On what settings only time will tell.

Veteran of Total War helping CA with MTW II.
Will this be of any use? It has been pointed out that a 'team' has always helped with TW releases but it is my belief that the 'team' (AKA Beta Testers) decided to resign. Maybe one person on board from the start will prove to be more beneficial to the community than a bunch of disgruntled testers who were basically seeking to have STW 1, STW 2, STW 3, STW 4 etc. If people choose to keep harking back to the past, I think the community will inevitably become a new community. No doubt there will still be those who consider themselves 'better' because they 'played original STW' I am one of those who played the game since its release way back in 2000.......So what? The game has evolved and with that evolution so called 'Vets' can lose miserably. Maybe this is the reason behind the negativity surrounding RTW and BI.
There are a few things that I hope will change with MTW II.....
Unit speed
Overlapping/stacked units
Unit balance issues
I still feel fairly confident that MTW II will be a better game and for those who will undoubtedly continue to whine on about STW.... There is a fake server so why not go and use it?
