Tonight saw some good battles played against opponents who seemed to enjoy the games.
A lttle bit of banter at the start of the evening seemed to break the ice. and create a more friendly atmosphere.
A plus to the evening was picking teams at random from the players who joined the game and all seemed to enter into the spirit of the play.
In all it made for an enjoyable evening.
More nights like this we need to see.

I enjoyed the relaxed approach to tonight's battles even though I was on the losing side of all of them
One positive from this was seeing some factions that are not used often..........Marcus...as a Hun!!??? heh
Just shows how much fun this game could be with the right appoach.

Oh yes very enjoyable night.
As far as Marcus as Hun, well Glyndwr could see that Mediterranean Hun more than once in the past days.

Yes....Marcus The Hun .... and he has been proving himself very affective with strong support backup from ERE.
You had one winning battle HUN when Toda and I were left on our own. Our allie just stood and fought on is own
No amount of persuading could get him to move off his deploy area
Looking forward to some more nights like that but we shall have to be in the lobby earlier in the evenings. It is not fair to you people who have to get up for work the next day.

I am wondering if there was a problem with your ally in that first battle. He did not move at all, which would indicate he was AFK or unable to move. Anyway, I did not count that battle because, as Marcus said at the time, it was a 3v2.

It's a pity we can't get back to these sort of evenings.
Spent about ½ hour in in the BI friendly lobby tonight.
Very few BI games being played now, and they are all 1v1 games,
Everyone seems to be playing RTW these days.
The chat lobby was even worse.
Noticed another player with the ^....^ tag. By the name of ^wittman47^

Yes it is a shame. BI could have been fun......with the right approach but it seemed that a lot of time was wasted due to a poor lobby interface that has to be vastly improved.

Same thing again tonight. A lot of players online but not one BI game being hosted. Every game was Incompatable.
It looks as if all the newcomers to RTW are logging on now.
A great pity because Marcus and I did enjoy a few games the other night on BI. A bit out of practice but we did win them.

Another poor evening. Spent ½ hour in BI lobby tonight, only three games being played. They were only for arranged games amongst the few BI players online. All the others were again... Incompatable.
Only RTW being hosted?
Does this mean that BI is just about finished?
Are all the usual players waiting for the release of M2TW?
Amazon.com today stated release date for M2TW is 25 August 2006.

Another poor evening. Again, three games of BI all the rest Incompatible.
A lot of chat in the lobby but no one seems to want to play.
Chat lobby looked like pre arranged games between Celtibero and RAPAX.

To be honest, if I could get VI to work I would rather play that. MTW II can't come quick enough IMO, Rome has been a Total Washout.

Hey!! Marcus....
That game was going so well last night. A pity that we had that player connection fault from the one player.
I held the connection as long as possible hopeing it would right itself but how do you know if or when it has crashed.
The GS connection lost (logged out of GS) with the other games was a bit of a bind.
I had to exit the game and relog every time.
