Samurai Warlords Beta5 MP. (General Discussion Topic)

Played a few games on MP last Sunday and two weeks ago.

The Foyer seems to be increasing in numbers, 19 last Sunday, though not all on Samurai Warlords. But we did play 4v4 games.
Getting used to playing the 16 units games again and the different commands to M2TW. (Left click Right click etc. etc. )

Last night (Sunday 30th Sept) enjoyed a long 6 hours of battles. Logged off at 0115hrs. Very tired but happy.

Mixed company playing games at random, where you joined was where you played. No knowing who you would be playing with or against.
2 v 2....3 v 3....and 4 v 4 games.

The sort of evenings we should be having with M2TW but unfortunately there is not the good company or enjoyment anymore. Sad but true.

Last night, another 2½ hours of solid, non stop games.
4 v 4 and 3 v 3.

I have been hoping that the ^Nomads^ would have appeared on the battlefield by now.

Another evening of 5½ hours of solid playing.

Interesting 'Large' unit games, 3 v 3 and 4 v 4. Good games played with a friendly atmosphere.

It was good to see 22 players in the Foyer at one time in the evening although not all are playing SamWars.

Another long evening of battles being played.

3 v 3 and 4 v 4 games.

Two games being Hosted at the same time because of the number of SamWars players online.

Along with the VI Revival some 27 players in the VI Foyer at one time.
Let us hope that the upward trend continues.
Just remains to be seen how much longer the Server keeps running.

Sunday saw another 5 hours of non stop battles. I played 5 games in total. Had I logged on earlier it would have been more.

Some good 3 v 3 and 4 v 4 battles.

New players are asking for information on where to get the mod download from and what is needed to play it.

It looks as if the Samurai Wars community could be increasing even more.

Last Sunday saw three very good battles that were so close they could have gone either way.

Some good teamwork and tactics employed.

Four new players in the Sam Wars foyer last night.

Had plenty to do to get the installs working correctly but succeeded in the end.

Some good games played and with two games running at the same time.
Another very late night getting to sleep.

Another great night of games.

2 v 2 ... 3 v 3 and 4 v 4 games.

A very good atmosphere in all the games.

Some very good tactical games with some close battles that could have gone either way.

This is looking good for the future.

Sunday 17th Feb saw another looooooong evening of battles. Six games overall. 3 games 2 v 2...2 games 4 v 4 and a final game of 3 v 3.
This last game lasting for 52 minutes. A very close and tactical game with both sides fighting for supremacy.

I looked at the Org a couple of days ago, I notice that Mongols have been added to Beta8. Is this being played online or is everyone still using Beta5?

The last information I had about this was.....
R'as is thinking of making a new installer for beta_8.1 (he suggested) and is waiting for comments about the Mongols and about testing on a Saturday and Sunday evening.

I am waiting to see what they are going to do but would be prepared to help test for desynces.

I would like to see the Mongols added but with good balance to represent their well known fighting capabilities.
